_Country:
The country is represented in international football by the Singapore national Football Team. They are popularly referred to as The Lions. Their home colours are all red and away colors are all blue.

Home Stadium:
The National Stadium Singapore situated in the city of Kallang was the Home Stadium of the Singapore football team. It was closed in 2007 as the stadium is being torn down to facilitate a sports hub.

Association:
The Singapore football team is governed and controlled by the Football Association of Singapore, which was founded in the year 1892. This is the oldest football association in Asia. It received FIFA affiliation and AFC affiliation in 1952. The President of the association is Ho Peng Kee.

Manager:
The present Head Coach & Manager of the Singapore team is former Serbian football player Radojko Avramovic.  He is popularly called as Raddy by the teammates. The present Captain of the team is striker Indra Sahdan Daud.

Trophies & Titles:
Singapore played their first international in April 1953 against South Korea, losing the match 2 – 3. Their biggest win was over Laos in January 2007, beating them by a score of 11 – 0. They suffered their greatest loss against Burma in November 1969, losing 9 – 0.

Singapore is currently ranked 136th according to the FIFA World rankings. They have had a best rank of 73rd in August 1993, and a lowest rank of 140th in October 2007. They are currently ranked 116th in the Elo rankings.
