The Home Ground of the Valencia CF football club is the Estadio Mestalla situated in the city of Valencia in Spain. It was opened on May 20th 1923. The Stadium was formerly known as Estadio Luis Casanova, and in 1994 it was renamed to its current name. This 105 x 73m grass surface court is owned and operated by Valencia CF.

The Valencia CF club plays all its league matches on this ground. The first match ever to be played on this ground was between Valencia and Levanta in May 1923. Valencia won the match by a score of 1 – 0. In 1980, the Copa del Rey finals were played here when Valencia won the tournament with the help of Mario Kempes. The 1982 World Cup saw all of Spain’s matches being held at this ground.

The Stadium has a present capacity of 55000 people. The maximum capacity that the stadium has ever seen was probably during the 1982 World Cup matches held here.

The Stadium is situated at the address Avda. De Suecia s/n. 46010 Valencia, Spain. The Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana is the main public transport available here. And there are also the Valentia Metro and other bus and rail services that can be used to get to the Stadium.
