Singapore played their first international in April 1953 against South Korea, losing the match 2 – 3. Their biggest win was over Laos in January 2007, beating them by a score of 11 – 0. They suffered their greatest loss against Burma in November 1969, losing 9 – 0.

Singapore is currently ranked 136th according to the FIFA World rankings. They have had a best rank of 73rd in August 1993, and a lowest rank of 140th in October 2007. They are currently ranked 116th in the Elo rankings.

Henryk Kasperczak is the present coach for the Senegal National Football Team. On July 10th in 1946 Henryk Kasperczak was born. His birth place is Zabrze, Poland. Henryk Kasperczak has managed for more than ten teams and in 2006; he joined the Senegal National Football Team as a manager. When Henryk Kasperczak was performing for Poland National Team, he had won a silver medal at the Summer Olympics in the year 1976 which was held in Montreal, Canada.

This is a multifunctional stadium, which means that this stadium can also be used for other sports activities. Stade Leopold Senghor stadium is located in Dakar, which is in Senegal. Leopold Senghor stadium was opened or built in the year 1985 and this stadium has a capacity of accommodating around 60,000 spectators seated. Estadio Anoeta is a multi-use stadium in San Sebastian, Spain. Though it is usually used for football matches it has also been used occasionally for Rugby matches. Built in 1993, it is the home stadium of the Real Sociedad. It can seat up to 32,200 spectators.

San Sebastian is one of the cities with a beach (La Concha and La Zurriola) in the centre of the city amidst historical monuments. The city is small and is divided into Centro, Gros and the Old city.

Trains can take you to the city from several places in Spain, Portugal and France. Overnight services are available to and from Paris and Lisbon. The city has two train stations: the RENFE (www.renfe.es) for national trains and the Euskotren (www.euskotren.es) for the local railway network.

The city has four different airports in its vicinity. The San Sebastian airport is 20km from the city centre and has a bus every hour but all other options such as cafeterias and shopping malls are not available. _Mercedes Benz arena is the home stadium of VFB Stuttgart and is located in Stuttgart, Germany. It was named Mercedes Benz arena in July 2008. The crowd capacity of the stadium is about 56000. It also has facilities for track and field events. However plans are being made to renovate the stadium and convert it into an exclusive football stadium by the end of 2009.
